CELPE-Bras
The CELPE-Bras exam is created by the Ministry of Education and is the only official certificate of proficiency in Portuguese as a foreign language.
The exam is held in Brazil and other countries, twice a year, usually around April and October.
The certificate is accepted by companies and educational institutions worldwide where proficiency in Portuguese is required.
If you plan to study at a Brazilian university, you may need to provide the results of the CELPE-Bras exam. This applies mainly to undergraduate and graduate courses.
